-1 Tablespoon of Olive Oil
-1 Tablespoon of White Vinegar
-1 Tablespoon of Soy Sauce
-Black Pepper to taste
-Garlic powder or minced garlic to taste
-3/4 cup of precooked breast meat chicken, minced
-1/4 cup of minced carrot
-1/4 cup of minced cabbage
-1/4 cup of minced onions
-2 cups of All-purpose flour
-1 teaspoon of salt
-Rice to serve with
Combine olive oil, vinegar, soy sauce, pepper, and garlic in a medium sauce pan. Put over medium heat and add chicken, carrot, onions, and cabbage cook until onions are translucent and fragrant, stirring continuously. If the mixture seems really dry, you can add more oil, vinegar, and/or soy sauce. Remove from heat and set aside.
Combine flour and salt in a large bowl. Add water 1 tablespoon at a time and kneed with fingers until a dough is formed. The dough should be thick and dry and not very sticky when handled.
Roll the dough and cut into circles with a five inch diameter. The dough should be as thin as you can make it with a rolling pin.
Spoon some of the chicken mixture into the center and pull up a little bit of the outside at a time, pressing the outside dough into the center.
Steam the buns for about seven minutes each and serve immediately with rice. Yum!
